NEW YEAR'S PARTY DUE TO FLOODING
As much as we hate to do it, Jeff and Todd have agreed that attempting this evening's party would be unsafe and unwise due to flooding from the Truckee River. Walden's is already cut off on a couple sides, the parking lot is full of water, and the flooding isn't even close to what is predicted for later this evening.

Burning Peace was back in full force with an acoustic set of fan favorites, filling the Featured Performer spot at Walden's open mic on November 18th, 2005. We know they must have been favorites because it was the fans in the crowd that chose our songlist. :) And speaking of fans, thanks to everyone who came out and reminded us why Walden's is the place Burning Peace loves best! Kent Miura sat in (adding his cajon to Cap's drums) providing a great combined percussion sound. If Kent keeps this up I think he should just give in and become a regular member of the band! Then to really fill things out we'd just need some keyboards, a horn section, some dancers ... or would that be too much? heheh
