What a wild five weeks we've had! After all those great shows we ended May with our annual CAVES expedition, which was attended by quite a diverse crowd. We did experience some weather issues, but nothing we weren't able to overcome. The only major bummer from a BP point of view is the fact I lost my voice right before the trip. Luckily this didn't happen before any of our gigs, but it was definitely a drag not being able to sing at the CAVES. However, BP did bust out a big ol' instrumental jam with several friends at the end of Saturday night, with yours truly on keyboards. I may not have been able to sing, but we still had a good time! Sooooo...now I can start planning NEXT year! :)
The show we had planned for tomorrow (June 11th) is a NO GO, which turns out to be a good thing for us. WE'RE TIRED! So, instead of performing, we're going to take it easy for the next couple of weeks and get rested up for our June 25th show at Walden's. We're paired with the belly dancers this time around, so you DEFINITELY won't want to miss it!!!
