VOTE FOR US BY LISTENING! http://www.battleofthebands.com/burningpeace

Thanks to everyone who came and shared the evening with us at Walden's Coffeehouse on Friday, April 15th. We had a great time, portions of the recording turned out quite good, and we even had Cuddles in the hizzy! Speaking of recording, we're working on putting together LIVE! Vol. 2, so help us out by sharing your energy at our upcoming shows.

We really appreciate everyone coming out and supporting us in April; we played a lot in order to prepare for all the amazing shows we have scheduled this coming month. We're going back to Carson, taking the outdoor stage at the River Festival in downtown Reno, out to Quincy, California for the first time, and then ending May with our annual "get away from it all" campout. What a month!

Burning Peace is entered in the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands contest. The more visits and plays our page gets, the better chance we have of being included in all the fun this year. So send this link to all your friends! :)

We also have a MySpace page with streaming audio, but the supposed URL doesn't seem to work (www.myspace.com/burningpeace). However, you might try this link and see what happens. Add us to your Friends list!

Now on to GIG NEWS

On Saturday, April 2nd, the Adam Varona band was scheduled to play the showcase at Walden's, but unfortunately had to cancel. So, Burning Peace filled in at the last minute.

BIG thanks go out to everyone who came and saw us play ... what a GREAT show! This time the instruments stayed in tune, I only forgot one line of a song, and the crowd was beyond FANTASTIC! Super duper big time thanks to Brian Kahler for sitting in with us on a couple tunes. "Sea Shanty" just ain't the same without ya! And to make the night even better, we got to enjoy stellar sets by Canyon White and the Whitney Myer Band. rrrrrrRAD!

This month has turned into a bit of a heavy-play time for us, which is good because we really needed to get warmed up and well-rehearsed for all the dates coming in May, June, and July. Wanna help us keep warm? Come down to Walden's THIS Friday (April 15th) and get your Burning Peace ON! The night starts with open mic at 7pm, and then we play a 1-hour set as the evening's Featured Performer. Dig it.

If you're going to be in the Carson area on April 30th, don't miss our two hour show at Comma Coffee (8pm)! Thanks to everyone for making us feel like rock stars o' the coffeehouse scene. YOU ROCK!

Thanks to everyone who came out and shared some tunes with us last Saturday. What a freaky night! Technical difficulties crept up and threw me into a tizzy, which (I think) caused me to forget how to play most of my own material. Finally I decided SCREW IT and blasted through a bunch of old rock standards, which kept the rest of the band guessin' and had the audience singing along. When in doubt, ROCK IT OUT!

So, if you missed our set last week, now's your big chance to miss it again! Er, I mean, SEE us this time! heheheh The last band I had scheduled for this week's Walden's showcase cancelled, and I wasn't able to fill the spot on such short notice. Soooooo, being that we have a lot of gigs coming up and very little time to practice (as in zero), I decided that Burning Peace will fill in and finish the evening. Perhaps this time I'll remember how to play my !@#@#$% guitar!
