Thanks to everyone who came and saw us perform at the Blue Angel Cafe as part of the benefit show last Sunday. It's always nice to see some friendly faces when playing a new venue. Super special thanks go to Cindie & Sam for driving in all the way from Susanville just to catch our 40 minute set. YOU ROCK!

We've got lots of shows coming up in April & May, including our first trip to Quincy, CA. If you're interested in helping us promote the shows and being a part of our "street team", drop me a note and I'll get you some flyers and whatever other stuff I can come up with. Thanks!

Our 3rd Anniversary show at Walden's was absolutely FABULOUS! Special thanks go to Roberta Chevrette (with Ken Burnett) and The Kimberly Trip for helping us celebrate in style. What a great night! As it happens, the formation of our band came around the same time as three of our birthdays (Cap in January, Lenny in February, and Todd in March), and being that none of us really "do" birthdays, per se, it's kind of nice that we have a party excuse that just happens to fall at the same time of the year. Joe's birthday is in November, but hey, he's a twentysomething so I guess he's still allowed to have birthdays. :)

We saw so many of you at the show, I was really blown away by the whole thing. We had such a great time! Thanks to all our family & friends for being so supportive these past three years. YOU ROCK!

Speaking of Joe and birthdays, for some odd reason he and his girlfriend chose MY birthday to get married. It's not as though they consciously made that connection ... just an odd coincidence. Anyway, be sure to say CONGRATS (or offer condolences, depending on your attitudes on marital bliss) to Joe next time you see him. He's an old married man now. :)

We're currently working on getting more dates on our gigging calendar this year. Some of you may have noticed that I'm now hosting most open mic nights without the full band. So this means that if you want your Burning Peace fix you won't be able to count on us being at Walden's every week. You'll just have to make sure you come to one of our shows! The only date on the March calendar is our showcase appearance on the 26th at Walden's, but things are going to start getting a lot busier as the days get warmer!

BTW, I'm trying to do a little update work on the website each week. I've added some photos to our media section, as well a couple links on the press page. I've got lots more photos, and one of these days I'll even get some new(er) video online!

Burning Peace ... OUT
