Our most recent Musician's Showcase (12/17/04) at Walden's Coffeehouse was
one great party! We witnessed the live debut of Johnny and the Terraforms, followed
by Mister Vague bringin' on the rock despite Mark's very sore throat. I'm thinking we
need to invest in kick-proof mic stands when Mark is around! :) The evening was
finished out by an interesting Burning Peace set. I say interesting because it started
out a bit rough due to some equipment problems, but once we cleared those hurdles
something SNAPPED and we really had fun with the crowd. I personally discovered
that it's harder to get a full body acoustic guitar behind your head than I would have
thought. I should also apologize to everyone who had to witness me 1) whip out my
'80s metal scream, and 2) jump in the air like a fool. Perhaps it was the GREAT
CROWD turnout that made me freak a bit. Thanks to everyone who showed; it was
great seeing y'all!

The Fundraising Benefit Show for Traner Middle School (12/14/04) at Walden's
featuring Burning Peace was a wild, weird, wacky evening of prose, wine, raffles, and
music. Thanks to everyone who PACKED the house and donated so much to a
school of very deserving kids.
