Thanks to KTHX 100.1 FM "The X", the Nevada Museum of Art, Walden's Coffeehouse, all the event sponsors, and everyone who showed up for our set at X-Night last Thursday ... ALL 700 OF YOU. WOW!

It was nice meeting lots of new folks and receiving lots of nice comments, but we were especially pleased to see so many familiar faces on hand. Burning Peace fans are the BEST folks you'd ever want to know, and I'll wrassle anyone who says otherwise! :)

We played a two hour set (straight through, no breaks) and everyone said it sounded good. I know it felt good, and no one complained once we turned it down a notch after the first song. Hey, we were excited, what can we say? We came to rock the house!

Work progresses on the live album. My optimistic frosted side (versus my crunchy wheat side) tells me the new disc could be finished by April, so stay tuned for details!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Thanks to everyone who made our Musicians' Showcase appearance at Walden's last Friday a total blast! We loved sharing a stage with James Cavanaugh & Company and the Amber Rubarth Band. The amazing turnout and response from all you music lovers make performing so much fun it ought to be illegal! :)

Saturday night's open mic was extra-fun; we're really flattered that the day immediately after our showcase everyone wanted to hear *five* more Burning Peace songs. Y'all definitely know how to make four guys feel like rock stars. heheheh

Super Bowl Sunday. WOW! Thanks to Gary Gibb for hosting one hell of a party, thanks to his son Briant Gibb for getting us the gig, and thanks to all those wacky party-goers for dancing and hollering and generally making us feel welcome. No one even noticed the now-infamous Janet incident; it was THAT kind of night! Gary ... Briant ... next time you guys throw a party, be sure to keep us in mind for the entertainment. We had a blast!

Now on to our X-Night appearance at the Nevada Museum of Art. What a week!

P.S. Work on the live album continues ... thanks to everyone for all the enthusiasm that can be heard on the recordings. :)
