Thanks to everyone who showed up for our first show at Longneck's Bar & Grill. You people are the best!
It's nice to be back hosting the Walden's Open Mic again (11/23) after a three week absence. November's been a really busy month for us! The RN&R article brought us a lot of attention and gig offers, so it's been tough trying to fit everything in to the ol' schedule. This week's open mic featured various regular performers along with a couple new faces. Guess I should get crackin' on updating the Walden's website with photos and video!
Friday's show at Longnecks (11/22) was a mixed bag of fun. To avoid the difficulties experienced during our last Longnecks appearance, we hauled our own PA down and ran it from the stage. Used the brand new Behringer mics and DI box, and WOW! We sounded great. Too bad there were only about 20 witnesses. Perhaps it was the new casino opening party, or maybe the rain kept everyone at home, but we did appreciate the response received from the few folks who were on hand. Thanks to Lenny's friend Dave for being such a solid fan, Steve from Fast Foto for adding some recorder piping to "Sea Shanty", Andrew the bartender for his support and friendly nature, and special thanks to our new fan Steve the Happy Fellow at the Bar for not only listening to our whole show, but inviting us over for Thanksgiving dinner! Sorry we can't make it Steve, but it's always nice to be asked.

I have decided that I look like a large "Burning Peace" brand marshmallow in the new t-shirts.
Got a lot done on recording last week. Feeling good about the progress of the first Burning Peace album.
Decided it was high time to start a Burning Peace journal. Wheeeeeeeee!
